Caleb gave a grin, his brilliantly white pearls gleaming. "Really? Grandpa's helping out? That's probably a huge relief for them then. I think he'd make a good club owner, at least back in his younger days," he muttered, giving a wink and a snorting laugh. His brown hair fell again as the wind pushed and pulled at him. "Good. What time is it," he asked, thinking... It didnt feel much later than ten or eleven. The sun wasn't too high in the sky, nor were the clouds inhibiting the rays of light from bursting through the cerulean colored atmosphere. Caleb nodded. "I think it'd be good too. We've both been uber busy with our charges. And Natalie can manage without me. She's just going shopping I think."
Blue eyes gleamed and Caleb Halliwell shook his head, feeling release hit him with the wind. He fell over the edge of the bridge, gliding down towards the water with shark like speed. Right before he came to the bottom of the fall, he orbed himself right back to the top of the bridge beside his mother. "Haha. Sorry about that. I just had a sudden urge."

"She sure does! She had told me it is now easier to run both since our father, your grandfather, are helping to run the P3 nightclub while she runs the restaurant. Of course sweetie, we can go by there for lunch today." She had loved to hang out with her boy as she calls him, even to restaurants. Ever since he was born, she felt blessed to even be his mother in other words since she always loved children and there were times of wanting one. Even Andy felt the same way. If they were to have another, who knows? "Of course it would be alright." She paused for a moment. She still wonder if things are alright. "I have plenty of time today. No charges. I think its fair to just have a mother and son day. What do you think?"

I decide to fill in some information about vampires. Here is from sources about vampires and of course Anne Rice, Bram Stoker, and so on and so forth.
Vampires are sexual beings. They can't go into the sunlight, unless there is a big reason. Jonathan could because his ancestor was of course Lilith, who was to be said the first vampire of all. However, I had him be able to because there could be a witch's spell that would be in place. However, Lestat can go in the sunlight due to having drunk from ancient blood. A vampire's strength can grow throughout the decades. As they grow, so does their powers. Vampires does not sparkle, they also need blood to survive. A vampire could go to sleep throughout the day. They either prefer a coffin or a bed if they like.
The way to kill a vampire is either of decapitating, a stake through the heart, or even fire. They do not turn a person into a vampire by injecting venom with one bite. You can't turn a human back into a human by sucking out venom. It doesn't work that way. Instead, the proper way to turn someone is to bite them, drink their blood until near death, and then cut your wrist hearby giving them your blood. This is also a way for you to be in contact. Some books such as Anne Rice, indicates that a maker cannot read their fledgling's minds. That can be true but in other legends they can since they are in fact connected.
If you are still unsure about them, the best bet to find more about vampires is through wikipedia, or even on the internet. Search for vampire legends and what not. Hope this helps.
What is NOT allowed on BR « Result #4 on Dec 3, 2009, 2:50pm »
I decide to put this as a separate thread instead. That way if you wish to you can click on it as a reminder. Here are the ones not allowed on Br:
Centaurs, Minotaurs, Pegasus or other mythical creature save for the ones that are on the canon list and on the forum. Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Despite I love Tim to death and he freaking rocks and I so wanna see the movie, know that this is not the forum for it. So please be creative and do not name your chars after them or in fact base them off of them. Like how Grace did, you can use the actors. Pirates of the Carribean-but you can still use the actors from the movies for your original chars' faces. Billie and Christy Jenkins from Charmed Melinda Halliwell, the supposed "sister" of Wyatt and Chris Piper, Phoebe, Paige, and other members of the Halliwell family except for those listed in the canon list. This is because it is hard to find those who would play them and the fact it would cram up the site. Druids Ogres elves fairies Lord of the Rings trilogy. Again you can use the actors from the movies. That's fine with me. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. The only exception is of Dorian Gray and Mina Harker being like the ones from the novels themselves. That means you can ressurrect Dorian back to life even though he died in the Oscar Wilde novel but do not have him as the one from the movie. Since Mina has not become a vampire in Bram Stoker's Dracula, you can play her descendent. That is allowed, but the one from LXG is not. Phantom of the Opera (2004) Dracula 2000. Van Helsing (2004) Anime-whether it be faces for the chars, manga, tv shows, or even anime movies. You can however talk about Anime and what not in the ooc. Harry Potter-despite I'm a HP fan, unfortunately Harry isn't allowed on the forum. Who is it to say you can't use Rupert Grint or whoever for your original chars' faces? Well despite their chars aren't allowed, you still can use the faces. Any law shows out there (CSI, Law and Order, ect.) Lastly, Twilight. That means no Twilight-like characters, naming them after the chars, or even the canons themselves. If I see a Volturi on here I will delete them. You can however use the actors from the movies for your original chars' faces. That is okay. Bringing in something from Stephanie's novels is not. Vampires do not sparkle.

Caleb gave his mother a smile, his blue eyes glistening with the sunlight from high above the clouds. Her voice seemed to just glide with the air around him, surrounding Caleb's body. "She still has a restraunt? That's awesome! Do you think we could go by there and see it sometime? Maybe today," he asked, sounding very much like a simple child. His mother seemed to be examining him. Caleb gave her a look that indicated to continue talking and not be so mother like. His brown hair flowed with the breeze and he nodded as well. "I suppose. Actually.. I think we should go spend some time together ya know? Around town and stuff? Think that'd be alright? I think it would be fun," he muttered, smiling to his mother.
She was his favorite person in the whole world. No one meant more to Caleb than his mother and he longed to go demon fighting with her some day, but dreaded it as well because she may get hurt. Giving her a genuine smile, Caleb looked to his mother and waited for her pleasurable response.
How BR came to be « Result #6 on Nov 28, 2009, 3:23pm »
I bet you guys wonder how I came up with Bleeding Rose. Here, you'll find out and why the board is the way it is. Well first, the concept of Ashumba owning a nightclub came to me years ago. It was for a yahoo group called Bleeding Rose, where Ashumba had owned it. It was in New Orleans but the nightclub she owned wasn't a nightclub that is actually in New Orleans that she transformed. That part was changed, even the year of the forum taking place. I thought it would be interesting to have it in the future, you know to be a bit different than of how I had thought of. The yahoo group was doing great. We had of course Anne Rice chars but it was mostly them with original characters. Unfortunately one day someone hacked my account and deleted the yahoo group, same with my other one which was similiar but in Los Angeles and owned by my char Vincent Lee. I brought BR back but again the poor yahoo group along with also my aaliyah yahoo group was both deleted. So the idea of BR was kept away. I brought Vincent's nightclub back to life through a forum which was called Night Island Requiem (Lestat came up with that and told me the name for the forum once). The nightclub's name Vincent owned was called Requiem of the Immortals. That nightclub might resurface now just thinking about it but in the subboard. It won't have sections like how BR has sections but it would be there. Bleeding Rose had the flat, the main floor, and of course a cellar until Azrael had informed me they don't have cellars over there. Thanks Az!

The forum is halfway hidden away because of some people that caused so much tormoil and drama and stuff, that some left some very nasty remarks and things like that. Plus spammers would pop up. Since it was bothering the members and things like that, Azrael and I talked and it was best to hide the boards but unlike some sites where you have to log in to see all of the forum I decided to let the boards be seen to get an idea. So if you are curious and you stop by and wonder, just come right here and read. Hope it helps. Like I said if you guys have any questions let any of us know.

1. Respect all members and staff here at the forum. If anyone breaks this rule, inform us immediately.
2. All members must post two times per week.
3. Once registering you must activate your account that way we can know you are here to stay and ready.
4. All signatures must be 5oo x 500 but be sure it doesn't stretch out. Avatars are only 200 x 300.
5. If you were to take up a canon, please remember we do not allow a certain type. See the info 101 for the list.
6. No mixed races which means lycan/witch. I wasn't clear on that before but now you know.
7. Please remember all chars must have flaws. No mary sues are allowed, this includes especially Twilight like characters, and I know I already said it before but I will repeat here.
8. If you were to bring in a twin they must be in a separate account. And regarding face claims if someone has a claim you want, just be patient. If you need help with choosing a face claim, come to us and we'll help.
9. Please do not change my bio layout. See notes on there from Azrael and myself for further info.

"Ohh yeah I remember myself hanging out with your aunts after a day of demon fighting at P3. I think your aunt Piper still has that and her restaurant. I have been there myself. I have to say I am so proud of her for it." She paused letting the breeze softly hit against her face and watched her son moving away from the pilars. She had to admit he really does look like the both of them, but mostly like Andy moreso. He had inherited her facial structure but the height came from his father of course. It was strange how she gave birth to him regarding that whitelighters were supposedly dead but after all she still had her witch powers. Maybe it was a miracle. She had thought of it that way. After all she had wanted children when she was alive didn't she? She smiled and nodded. "Of course but you can go whenever you want, you know that. Oh maybe you should call them up first. That way if you orbed into their home and they weren't there then you would know they were busy."

Caleb smiled, his blue eyes touching his lips as he did so. He loved being around his mother so much. She just made all the bad things go away. It was what mother's were good at. His brown hair blew against his face in waves of color as the winds of the bridge roared happily, dancing with the feeble playthings that were the whitelighters. Caleb laughed. "Yeah I did," he muttered. He gave her a grin before the blue eyes boy continued. "I was just out drinking a bit with some of the boys that's all. I'm fine." He laughed as his mother added in her 'one' plan. "Ooh. Visit to the nephews? Fun. Mind if I come with then? I haven't seen them in awhile. You're right." Caleb laughed, moving away from the railing to stand in the center of the pillar on which he stood, awaiting his mother's answer.

Prue hugged her son back after he had given her a hug. She pulled away and nodded. "Yeah," she said. She watched him flipping his hair and took a few steps back to lean against the bridge. She did too but against one of the other railings. "You did? Oh. No wonder you sounded tired. So what did you do last night to be so tired in the morning? Plans? Don't really have any." With a pause she added, "okay maybe one. I'm thinking to go over to Chris and Wyatt's to check on them and then well after that I have no clue. None of my charges are calling for me but if they were I would be there. What about you? Have any plans for today?" she asked. In fact to her, having to deal with charges is not a bad thing. After all she takes it seriously since you have to worry about the innocent first over the personal stuff. She was hoping her sisters would remember that unlike well back in 2006. Boy, she was shocked. Prue may have been a whitelighter/witch for this long but it doesn't mean she didn't hang out in the clouds to watch over her sisters. While she waited for her son's answer, Prue looked down at the cars below them. Its still like a dream that she is here though. "Speaking of visiting, have you ever thought to give your cousins a visit? I think it'd be great." Now she looked back at her son. Its amazing that he looks like the both of them and inherited the Halliwell hair.
